Researchers at the University of Washington, led by Professor Gerald Pollack, have published peer-reviewed studies documenting a fourth phase of water they term EZ (Exclusion Zone) water. This negatively-charged, hexagonally-organised molecular state forms naturally near hydrophilic surfaces and within biological tissue. Pollack's published research describes this structured form of water near the inner walls of capillaries and studies its role in living systems.

Conventional tap water — treated with chlorine, pressurised through pipe systems, and stored — loses the molecular organisation and mineral balance of natural spring water. The devices in this collection are designed to address one or more of the three pillars: filtration, mineralisation, and molecular structuring.
